The technology fee is a small fee that goes to Nettla to keep developing the app for players and clubs. If a purchase includes one, you see it as Technology fee in the checkout summary before you pay.
When you pay it
Whether a purchase has a technology fee, and how much it is, depends on the club and the type of purchase. You always see it before you pay.
There is no technology fee when a purchase is free, or paid fully with a club wallet.
Is it refunded?
If you cancel while your payment is still only reserved and you get a full refund, nothing is charged, including the fee.
Once a payment has been charged, the fee isn't refunded.
On a part refund, the fee isn't refunded.
For memberships and club wallets, the fee isn't refunded.
Refunded payments in Purchases show "Non-refundable technology fee of £…" where this applies.
