What do "Pay your part" and "Pay full cost" mean?

How splitting the cost works, why the full court is reserved on your card, and when to pay for everyone instead.

With Pay your part, each player pays their own share and gets their own member price. With Pay full cost, you pay for the whole court and other players join for free.

Pay your part

  • Each player who joins pays their own share, at their own price. Members get their member discount.

  • Court bookings: as the lead booker, the full court cost is reserved on your card when you book. About 4 hours after the session ends, you're charged only your own share, plus the share of any player who didn't join or pay, and the rest is released. If you book more than 6 days ahead, the full amount is charged 6 days after you book, and the parts other players paid are refunded to you after the session.

  • Matches: you only pay your own part. If not enough players join in time, the match is cancelled automatically and everyone is refunded.

Pay full cost

  • You pay the whole court price when you book.

  • Other players can still join, for free.

  • The price stays the same however many players join, and member discounts of the other players don't reduce it.

Which should I choose?

  • Choose Pay your part if friends will join and pay for themselves.

  • Choose Pay full cost if you're paying for everyone, or if you want to pay with a club wallet that doesn't cover the full reserved amount.

Good to know

  • Players can join a court booking until 4 hours after it ends, so ask your friends to join and pay before then.

  • The booking screen shows a Payment timeline for lead bookers who chose Pay your part.

  • See "Why was I charged more than my share of the court?" for an example with numbers.
