When you book something through Nettla, the payment isn’t always taken from your bank account right away. Instead, we often reserve the money first. This works just like when you book a hotel room or rent a car.
The reason we do this is simple: if you cancel your booking, it’s easier and faster to release the reservation than to process a full refund.
What this means for you:
If the money was only reserved (not actually taken), cancelling the booking will just remove the reservation.
You won’t see a “+” refund in your bank account, because no real payment ever left your account. Instead, the reserved amount will simply disappear from your statement.
Example:
You book a session → a £20 reservation shows in your bank.
You cancel that session → the £20 reservation disappears.
No money was moved back and forth — it was just held and then released.
