Why this feature exists

Nettla, like many other apps, includes many social features, like player names, match history, and messaging. For privacy and safety, we have a strict 18+ policy on standard accounts. To let younger players still join courses, book sessions, and track activity, we’ve built Parent–Child Connected Profiles. This allows a parent or guardian to fully manage a child’s account and bookings, while keeping the child’s profile safe and private.

How to set it up

  1. Open the Nettla mobile app and go to Profile.

  2. Tap the switch profile icon (top right).

  3. You’ll see a list of any existing child profiles, plus an option to add a new profile.

  4. Create a profile for your child. Once added, tap on their name to switch over and manage their account.

Child profiles are private by default — their name and details are hidden from other players. Parents can adjust visibility in Settings if they’re comfortable sharing more information.

Switching between profiles

  • To go back to your main (parent) profile, open the switch profile menu again and tap on your own account.

  • You’ll see a confirmation screen to let you know the switch has been completed.

  • You can switch as often as you need to manage bookings for multiple children or your own account.

✅ With Parent–Child Connected Profiles, parents stay in control, children stay safe, and clubs can welcome young players while respecting privacy rules.
